What I Had for Dinner

My fiancee made this tasty dinner tonight.

The meal consisted of sprouted pasta and oven roasted tempeh, carrots, zucchini, kale, sweet potatoes, and yukon gold potatoes. It was topped with herbs, parma, salt, and pepper.

It was really good. We ate while we watched The Biggest Loser (one of my guilty pleasure TV shows).

I love these plates. We found them at a thrift store in Portland.

Hey Billy, thanks for letting me know about the link error to your site. It is now fixed!
Glad you like my slow cooker pot roast--it's one of my husband's favorites.
Thanks for posting about vegan kitty food. By the way, your cats are adorable. I plan to post photos of my "kids" real soon.

Anything with sweet potatoes in it has my attention! Mmmm, and roasted carrots, zucchini, I could eat that right now and it's breakfast time! This certainly sounds better than a granola bar. :-(

Sweet find at the thrift store, those plates are cool.

I looove roasted veggies.

Oh, but what's sprouted pasta? Sounds interesting.

I love sweet potatoes!

Sprouted pasta is great. It's made of sprouted grains. I can't remember the company that makes this pasta, but Ezekiel makes some as well.

Is that the Trader Joe's sprouted pasta? If so, I love it and that's what I use when I make Veganomicon's Chickpea Noodle Soup. :) Thank you for adding me to your blogroll. I haven't updated mine in a while, but when I do, I'll add you!

Sounds like a delicious meal! I watched my guilty pleasure last night... Top Chef. Though I had to cringe at all the meat and the fact tha Anthony Bourdain was a judge. Ugh.

It's not Trader Joes. My fiancee bought it at our local co-op.

Vegan Noodle,

I have several TV shows I'm absolutely hooked on: Scrubs, The Office, Biggest Loser, The L Word.

I loved Six Feet Under when it was on. Probably my favorite show ever.

I like The Biggest Loser, too. I can't say I'm a big fan of the other shows you listed besides Six Feet Under. You might like The Riches, though. That's one of my all time favorite shows.

Hi Elaine,

I've never seen The Riches. I may have to check it out.

I'm very into Lost and just watched the new episode last night. Crazy!
