Vegan, Organic, Whole Grain Waffles!

I've finally found vegan, organic, whole grain waffles! Actually, credit is due to my fiancee who found them while we were shopping at our local co-op the other day.

They're made by Nature's Path. The flavor I bought was Pomegran Plus, although it looks like all of their waffles but one are organic and whole grain.

I managed to eat the box of eight waffles in just two days (my fiancee had two of them). Each waffle has 95 calories, 2.5g of fat, 2.5g of protein, and just 3g of sugar.

I recommend enjoying them with your favorite organic maple syrup.

Has anyone else tried these?

Did you see my waffle post a few weeks back? I can't seem to get enough of frozen waffles-- they're soooo easy to make! In fact, like you, I had vegan waffles for breakfast this morning :o).

Looks like I'm behind, as I just came across these. Maybe my co-op and/or Whole Foods sell more flavors.

Chocolate Covered Vegan: No, I didn't see your waffle post. I'll have to check it out.

These are a favorite for my kids. They like the blueberry ones (I think they have flaxseeds too), but we don't buy them often. I just noticed the pomegranate ones lately and have been wanting to try them. I might have to splurge soon.

australia hasn't caught up with providing great vegan products without specially ordering them in, but were getting there. Hopefully we'll have some in the freezer soon ^^

And South Australia is pretty much 45 and above all summer ^^ some days its gets up to 50 degrees. So i'm kind of used to the hot weather. Bad thing is, we have no water!

I adore waffles! And this brand in particular is excellent!!! I must have missed that particular variety though. They have some great hemp ones too. I wonder if I can get someone from Canada to post me some. I am pretty sure we might have some here in Brussels.....the hunt is on.

The pomegran variety IS delicious; but you should also try the FlaxPlus and the HempPlus ones too - THOSE are positively scrumptious! :0)

I love pomegranate! I don't eat foods that come out of a box, but these look pretty awesome!

Bean Mix: I remember that about Australia when I lived there. It was particularly hard to find stuff in the Sunshine Coast. But, that forced us to eat healthier and we ate mostly whole foods.

Miss Blueberry: Good luck, I hope you find them!

VeggieGirl: I just bought the Maple Cinnamon flavor. I'll try those other ones next. Thanks!

Happy Herbivore: That's awesome that you eat that healthy. Maybe I'll get there. Now that I'm so busy, it's very difficult.

I hail from Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Well, I mean, that's where I live right now. It's in the midst of Conservative Country, but at least there's a nice little health food store in town. I could probably find them there waffles there.

I am roughly an hour away from Wilkes-Barre. I haven't been to that Wegmans, but I have been to the ones in Bethlehem and Allentown, over in the east. I felt like I was in grocery heaven.

And I like Ukrop's, too, if you've ever heard of that (that's also basically grocery heaven) but I can only go there when I go visit to my dad down below the Mason-Dixon Line.

This is great to know about! If you buy more of them and decide to throw a vegan waffle party (even a small one!), please let us know & we'll post a link to your blog; we'd love to see Seattle represented via a 5/24/08 vegan waffle party.
