Vegan Easter Basket

Just because you're vegan doesn't mean you can't have an Easter basket. I put together a vegan Easter basket as a surprise for my fiancee. Take a look below.

I filled the basket with the following goodies:

I was able to buy all of this at the one-stop vegan shop here in Seattle: Sidecar for Pigs Peace.

Did anyone else have a vegan Easter basket?

We didn't do a Vegan Easter basket, but I didn't want to give Little Elvis chocolate and whatnot for the holiday. So we baked him some strawberry muffins last night. He probably would have enjoyed the super sweet stuff better, but he seems to be enjoying his muffins. Hope you guys had a great Easter!

So sweet of you!! I'll bet your fiance loved it :-) I can't wait to make a stop a sidecar for pigs peace when I'm in seattle next weekend!
I didn't do an easter basket, but I did make a bunny cake!

Hi Billy,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. It is so cool to have new blog buddies. I love you Easter Basket. Thai Primal strips are my favorite! They are a staple in this house.

You have a very lucky fiance! Enjoy your day

My mom mailed me a vegan easter basket. It included:
A blueberry chocolate bar from Ecco Bella, seitan jerky and wheat-meat sticks, kringles, Hot chili pops, sesame squares, chocolate animal cookies, and almond cookies.

Hehe one of the things in my basket (instead of a chocolate bunny) was "duck soap on a rope". Oh, and a veggie soup mix-- my mom is funny! One year, she put in a can of beans!

You are so sweet to make your fiancee an Easter basket. And also super lucky to have a one-stop vegan shop!

I actually didn't even know it was Easter yesterday until I signed out of my hotmail account and there were stories about it. Easter was never a holiday I really celebrated.

K is jealous of your super sweet basket - screaming from the kitchen: "Damn I failed".
He went to the shop last night while I was cooking our vegan easter dinner and came back with what he thought were vegan easter chocolates.....wrong label though. They were milk chocolate, white chocolate and more milk chocolate.... oh well!! :) Happy Vegan Easter to you and yours!

I'll agree with the masses and say you have a lucky fiancee - who wouldn't love vegan chocolate?
